I've always wanted to post these Tawny frogmouth pictures. They were taken at the end of our street one wet morning in November 2008. It's been a slow birding week so here they are:
"OK kids, just make like a branch. Watch Dad!"
Tawny frogmouth (Podargus strigoides), Blackburn, 22/11/2008
"What the...? What are you doing!? Kids - you can't take them anywhere"
Ooooo WOW! They are gorgeous! I love them! And your sense of humour is just perfect for the circumstances! Had I been there, I would have been glued to the road! LOL! Cheers Pete! :)
Hi Pete I love your images. Do you sell the rights at all? Don't need exclusive rights. I am an Australian Author and am writing a children's counting book using photos as illustrations. I need tawny frogmouth image for "three tawny frogmouths pretending to be bark." My website is ajmallonbooks.com.au if you want to have a look. Email is ajmallonbooks @gmail.com. Thank you for your time. Arena Mallon
